Text of the Order No. 352 of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine "On Amendments to the Regulations on the Use of Objects of Intellectual Property Rights in the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine regarding the Application of Open Access Licenses" dated June 13, 2024 

The order made changes to the Regulation on settlement features:

• open access to scientific publications and protection of intellectual property rights,
• features of the use of open access licenses;
• use of the copyright sign.

The order was approved:

• Sample form of the license agreement for the use of the work under the conditions of open access (Appendix 1) 
• Exemplary form of the electronic license agreement for the use of the work under open access conditions (Appendix 2)
• Rules for specifying Creative Commons licenses and the copyright sign (Appendix 3)
• Recommendations for specifying Creative Commons licenses in the license agreement for the use of the work under the conditions of open access and the electronic license agreement of accession for the use of the work under the conditions of open access (Appendix 4)
• Recommendations for the use by users of copies of scientific publications that have been published or to which interactive provision of access is ensured under the terms of Creative Commons licenses (Appendix 5)
• Recommendations on the procedure for concluding an electronic license agreement for the use of a work under open access conditions (Appendix 6)

The regulation on open science at the NAS of Ukraine is aimed at ensuring the implementation of measures provided for by the Concept of Implementation of European Principles of Open Science at the NAS of Ukraine for 2024-2030, approved by the Resolution of the Presidium of the NAS of Ukraine dated November 29, 2023 No. 400.

• Open Science Harvester of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine;
• Universal publishing platform of journals of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine;
• Repository of scientific texts of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine;
• Open data repository of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine;
• Archive of preprints of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine;
• Centers for the collective use of scientific equipment,

protection against the disclosure of information with limited access, compliance with intellectual property rights and information rights,

• scientific publications,
• preprints,
• research data,
• metadata.
